About Us

Three Lakes Campground in beautiful Three Lakes Wisconsin, has something for everyone. Located on the largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world, we offer a relaxing camping experience with access to some of the best fishing in the world. Our sites are nestled among large maples, oaks and pine trees. The campground is directly adjacent to a grass runway for our friends who travel a longer distance and wish to fly in to visit their seasonal site. We offer seasonal boat slips and a boat launch for our boating enthusiasts and a swimming beach and playground for the kids. Drive your golf cart from the front door of your camper to the first tee box at Big Stone Golf Course across the street. Stop in at our community room, the Sunset Grill or Jakes Bar & Grill, all within walking distance from your site.

Meet your Hosts

Amy and I were both raised in northwestern Wisconsin. Amy works full time as a hospice care coordinator with St. Croix Hospice in the Eau Claire area. I have had the opportunity of starting and operating three businesses in addition to farming, in partnership with my brother, Eric.

We purchased the Harbor Campground in November of 2021. We looked at over 100 campgrounds in four states over a period of two years before finding this property. This campground features roomy sites, mature trees, and plenty of grass on over 49 acres. It is located on Big Stone Lake which is part of the largest freshwater flowage in the world with direct access to a chain of 28 lakes from our boat slips. We have a beautiful sandy swimming beach which is the only beach on the lake chain.

Our plan over the next few years is to improve and expand the campground. In 2021, we improved all of the roads in the campground. We built a new fish cleaning house and community/business center. We remodeled a building into a shop and parts room and added equipment to better serve our customers. In a few years, after our hardworking team, (Elmer Kenyon, Rick and Carla Nemitz, and Steve Krueger) get the campground operating to it’s potential, Amy will retire and join me at the campground to enjoy life with our fun, wonderful camping family.

Thank you
Steve and Amy Skoug
